Dhammada Co., Ltd. is the data controller for information it decides to collect and use for these services. Shopify and other providers may act as processors or independent controllers for their own services.

This policy explains how Dhammada collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit www.dhammada.com, place an order, or request support. Checkout, payments, and store hosting are provided by Shopify on Dhammada's behalf.

Information collected

Dhammada may collect:

  • name, email address, phone number, and other details you submit at checkout or through the contact form;
  • order numbers, selected products, selected report packages, and selected lineages;
  • object photographs, wearer photographs, and photo-consent statements;
  • birth details used for calculation: calculation gender, exact local birth date and time, birth city and country, and the number of older siblings of the same gender from the same biological parents;
  • prerequisite order numbers and related correspondence;
  • reports, scores, and other results created to fulfill an order;
  • payment-related records processed by Shopify and its payment providers (Dhammada does not ask for full card numbers by email);
  • device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referrer, and cookie data collected by the website and Shopify.

The horoscope intake form uses Open-Meteo's public geocoding service to resolve a selected birth city to WGS84 coordinates and an IANA timezone. Only the city and country search terms are sent to Open-Meteo. The lookup does not send the customer's name, birth date, birth time, email, or order number.

Do not submit identity documents, payment credentials, or unrelated private material.

Why information is used

Information is used to verify the order, validate intake, perform the purchased service, deliver the result, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet accounting, tax, and legal duties. Depending on the context and applicable law, Dhammada relies on performance of the customer contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and service security, or consent where consent is specifically requested. Optional marketing consent is separate from service intake.

Customer photographs, birth details, and delivered reports are not used to train public AI models and are not used for advertising without a separate, explicit consent.

Sensitive images and third-party consent

If you submit another person's photograph, you confirm that the person has consented to the image being sent and used for the ordered service.

Service providers

Information may be processed by Shopify, payment providers shown at checkout, email providers, Open-Meteo for city/country geocoding, and tools required to fulfill or support the order. Only the information needed for each purpose should be shared. Dhammada does not share current-catalog order data with shipping carriers because the live services are remote and digital.

Cookies

The site and Shopify may use cookies and similar tools for essential store functions, checkout, fraud prevention, analytics, and, where permitted, marketing. You can control cookies in your browser; some store functions may not work without them.

Retention

  • Customer photographs, birth details, resolved coordinates and timezone, calculation working files, and Dhammada's retained copies of delivered reports are deleted from active fulfillment storage no later than 72 hours after the delivery email is sent.
  • A narrowly limited copy may be kept longer only while required for an active support request, chargeback, legal claim, security investigation, or legal duty. Access is restricted and the copy is deleted or anonymized when that exception ends. Email providers and system backups may retain encrypted or access-restricted copies under their own documented deletion cycles.
  • Minimal order administration records, such as order number, purchased service, selected lineages, amount, intake and delivery status, and delivery date, may be retained for customer service, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, and legal duties. They do not include the full birth record or service photographs unless one of the limited exceptions above applies.
  • Transaction records are kept as required by law.

You may request deletion of eligible personal information by emailing [email protected] with your order number. Dhammada may need to verify the requester. Because the complete natal birth record and retained report copy are deleted after delivery, a later Transit order requires the customer to resubmit the exact birth record and the qualifying Natal order number. Information that must be kept for tax, accounting, fraud, or other legal duties may be retained.

Security

Dhammada uses access controls and Shopify's hosted checkout. Payment card data is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant providers. Do not send card numbers, passwords, or identity documents by email.

Your choices

Depending on applicable law, including Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where either applies, you may request access, a copy or portability, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already performed and can make an unperformed personalized service impossible to complete. You may also complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee or the competent EU or EEA supervisory authority. Send requests to [email protected] with the relevant order number; Dhammada may request proportionate verification.

International transfers

Dhammada is established in Thailand. Shopify, payment providers, email providers, Open-Meteo, and necessary report tools may process data in other countries. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, Dhammada and its providers use the safeguards available for the relevant transfer. Contact [email protected] to request more information about a transfer relevant to your order.

Children

The site and services are not directed at children under 18. Dhammada does not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes shall first be referred to arbitration in Singapore under the SIAC Rules. If that does not finally resolve the dispute, the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction.
